About GME Research

The objective of the Graduate Medical Education Research Office is to create a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment to stimulate and support high quality scholarly activities within our department. Our ultimate goal is to advance quality of care and patient related outcomes by providing residents and faculty with the resources, knowledge and infrastructure to plan and conduct transformative biomedical research.

2016 Research and Quality Improvement Day

" On May 26th the Florida Hospital GME department held the 2016 Research and Quality Improvement Day. Over 200 participants joined the event which highlighted outstanding scholarly contributions from residents and faculty in the form of oral presentations, Quality Improvement projects and Research posters.

Awards were presented in the following categories: Basic/clinical research, Quality Improvement, and Case Reports"

Research Forms & Resources

Here you will find a link to the regulatory forms for the different types of research studies, that need to be submitted to the Florida Hospital Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Office of Research Administration (ORA) prior to conducting research activities. In order to access these forms, you will need to enter your Florida Hospital OpID and password.

Research Instructional Videos

Prior to conducting research activities at Florida Hospital, investigators are required to complete a series of web-based training modules. This section provides a collection of videos with step-by-step instructions on how to access and register for the different training courses.
