About
Orlando

Orlando
is a hub for higher education and is home to numerous colleges and
universities including University of Central Florida (UCF), Rollins
College, Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences and future home
of the medical school affiliated with UCF.
A
new “medical city” is under development over the next
several years with a UCF medical school, VA hospital, and Burnham
Research Institute centering their locations in the southeast part
of town near Lake Nona.
Greater
Orlando is home to several renowned theme parks including Walt Disney
World resort, Universal Studios Florida and Sea World. Just a day
trip away you can visit the Kennedy Space Center and Busch Gardens.
Because
of Orlando's unique position directly in the center of Florida, both
east coast beaches (Cocoa, New Smyrna, Daytona) and west coast beaches
(Clearwater, St. Petersburg) are one-hour trips and glorious weekend
adventures.
The
weather here is sunny virtually all-year-round and great for golfing!
Greater Orlando is home to more than 125 public and private golf courses,
most of which are open 365 days a year.
There
are also numerous new home developments and many top rated schools
throughout the Central Florida area. Opportunities are everywhere
for a family to grow!
