GME Orientation
All rotating residents, medical students and observers must complete the general GME Orientation session prior to the start of their scheduled training on any Florida Hospital campus.
Orientation
begins promptly at 9:00 AM on Monday mornings. Day of the week is subject to change. Please
report directly to the Family Health Center
at the address listed below:

- You
are required to wear your white lab coat at all times
while on the premises of Florida Hospital as well as
a temporary ID which will be provided upon arrival.
- Identification badges are to be worn on the upper portion of the chest on the outer garment (except in areas where a sterile environment is required).
- School/Program badges are to be worn in addition to the temporary Florida Hospital Badge.
- The Florida Hospital temporary identification badge issued at this session is for identification purposes only.
- The badges do not allow access into any areas of the hospital.
- You are required to remain with your Preceptor at all times.
- Any breach of this policy is grounds for suspension of your training.
- There is a $10.00 fee for lost or damaged identification badges.
- Florida Hospital ID Badges must be returned at the end of your training.
Parking
Parking is available for medical students and visiting residents in the Alden Street Parking Garage
adjacent to the main entrance of the hospital which intersects
at Alden and Rollins Streets. Cross the railroad tracks
on Rollins Street and enter the Medical Plaza (North Tower).
Take the elevator to the Family Health Center
on the second floor, Suite 235.
