Florida
Hospital Medical Center is the quaternary care hospital
of Central Florida. Because of the breadth of care
provided by Florida Hospital, all inpatient training
needed for our residency program is right here at
one location. |

The
outpatient center attached to Florida Hospital Medical
Center provides the facilities for all general internal
medicine outpatient care and many of the subspecialty
outpatient sites. The convenient location facilitates
high quality continuity of care and minimizes hassles
for our residents. |

Subspecialty
outpatient sites including the Cancer Institute
are within or very near Florida Hospital. These
sites are "real world" active practices
by sub specialists on the staff of Florida Hospital.
The Cancer Institute also houses the center for
Translational Research, headed by Dr. John Francis,
and the largest cancer registry in Central Florida. |

world renowned Burnham Institute will have a regional
campus with Florida Hospital, emphasizing research
in Diabetes and Metabolism. Our faculty and residents
will be able to do collaborative research projects
in conjunction with the Burnham faculty. |
