Dr. Marwa El-Menshawi received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She completed her residency and fellowship training at Florida Hospital and has been a faculty physician at Florida Hospital since 2008. She has also served as Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida State University College of Medicine since 2008. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. Dr. El-Menshawi teaches Family Medicine and Geriatrics to Medical Students, Residents, and Geriatric Fellows, particularly focusing on improving the hospitalized care of the elderly as well as the global assessment and management of the geriatric patient. She is also actively involved in medical mission trips, where she serves as Medical Director of SHARES International. Dr. El-Menshawi is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Geriatric Society.
