Dr. Tata grew up in Houston, TX as the oldest of five children. In her undergraduate years at the University of Houston, Dr. Tata was an active member of Alpha Phi Omega and Hope for Youth, an inner city ministry. She attended medical school at the Medical University of the Americas. Dr. Tata's hobbies include traveling, photography, listening to music, dancing, cooking, and international cuisine. Her career interests involve international medicine and rural medicine.
