Dr. Nguyen grew up in Orlando, FL. She attended the University of Florida for college and the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Her extracurricular activities before residency included being a Counselor of Florida's Diabetes Camp, serving as Fund-raising Co-Chair of Project World Health which organizes medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic, and leading as Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association. In residency, she serves as Recruitment Committee Chair and has participated in medical mission trips to Mexico and Haiti. Her hobbies include running outdoors, speaking Spanish, and hiking uphill but not downhill. Dr. Nguyen plans to work with the underserved populations after graduating from residency.
