Dr. Miah grew up in New York. He went to college at Stony Brook University and at Cornell University. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. His interesting extracurricular activities before residency included being manager of a co-op housing organization, participating in a Salybia mission project, and playing chess. In residency, Dr. Miah has been an active voluntee of the local After Hours Clinic for the uninsured. He is recently married. His outside interests include watching Bollywood movies and traveling. He hopes to pursue a career in academics after residency.
