Dr. Gutkin was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. He attended college near his hometown at the University of South Florida. During this time, he tutored eighth grade students at a local middle school and volunteered in the Emergency Department at St. Pet General Hospital. Dr. Gutkin received his medical degree from the American University of the Carribbean School of Medicine. His outside interests include weight-lifting, running, playing guitar, and reading. He is married to Dr. Stuart, who is also a resident in his class. Dr. Gutkin is interested in community medicine.
