Dr. Gomez is from Orlando, FL. She attended Stetson University for college and earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, home of the Gators. In residency, Dr. Gomez currently serves as Chief Resident, volunteers in the local After Hours Clinic for the unisured, and had received the "Intern of the Year" award. She has a strong theatre background and even started an acting group that performed musical theatre for children in the community of Gainesville, FL, where she attended medical school. Dr. Gomez is married to a construction manager who is now a stay-at-home dad with a beautiful baby boy. Her interest lies within hospitalist medicine.
