Dr. Castro is from Lake Mary, FL. She is happily married and one of her interests outside of medicine includes salsa dancing. She attended the University of Central Florida for her undergraduate education ahnd attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in residency, Dr. Castro has gone on a medical mission trip to Campeche, Mexico and works at the local After Hours Clinic for the uninsured. Dr. Castro would like to go into private practice after residency.
