The Family Medicine Residency continues that which was
learned as an intern. The residency further progresses
the young physicians' knowledge by becoming more ambulatory
clinic oriented. As well, the residents take on more responsibility
in teaching the interns and students.
This
includes preparing lectures and Medical "Jeopardy"
games that are designed to help prepare for boards in
a fun collaborative way.
Senior
(PGY3) residents are required to participate in a research
project and create an original paper of publishing quality.
Resident
selection will occur by mid January of the preceding year.
