Alfredo Tirado MD
Dr. Alfredo Tirado is the Ultrasound Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program and Assistant Medical Director for Florida Hospital - East Orlando. Originally from Puerto Rico, he finished his Medical School and Residency Program in Emergency Medicine with the University of Puerto Rico and served as Academic Chief Resident in his senior year. Then went to Providence, Rhode Island, and finished an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship with the University Emergency Foundation associated with the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. After finishing his fellowship, he started working with Florida Emergency Physicians, where he developed and implemented the Ultrasound Curriculum for residents and faculty, as well as a credentialing process.
Dr. Tirado is an active member of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM), American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). He has been appointed volunteer faculty for the University of Central Floirida (UCF), College of Medicine, and Clinical Assistant Professor for Florida State University. |
