Most recently the recipient of the 2011 FAculty Member of the Year, Dr. Nazario has interests in trauma resuscitation, ultrasound utilization and toxicology. Since the inception of the Emergency Medicine residency he has functioned as its Associate Program Director. In addition, Dr. Nazario has served as the hospital's Physician-Chair of the Bio-Ethics Committee since December 2006. Prior to arriving at Florida Hospital he served as an attending at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, New York from 1997 through 2003 where his focus was on the residency didactic curriculum and hyperbarics.
