Dr. Bethany Ballinger currently serves as the Director of Informatics and Evidence Based Medicine for the Emergency Medicine Residency. After attending medical school at the University College London School of Medicine, Dr. Ballinger completed an emergency medicine residency at King's College London and The John Radcliffe Hospital, University of Oxford in England. She completed a 3-year emergency medicine fellowship and specialist registrar at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital London, England and Oxford Rotation at The John Radcliffe Hospital, University of Oxford, England in 2001. After practicing as a board-certified emergency medicine physician in England, Dr. Ballinger came to Orlando, FL in 2004 to participate in a 2-year emergency medicine residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She joined Florida Emergency Physicians in 2007 and has since been named Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She serves as the Director of Medical Informatics and Evidency Based Medicine, as well as the Director of Patient Safety for UCF. Dr. Ballinger is also a Clincial Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine for the Florida State University Collete of Medicine.
